Meet the Team

Coming from a family of plumbers, Michael knew early that he had the trade running in his veins, and he realised that being a plumber would open up a world of opportunities. As the head of Vic City Plumbing, one of the main things Michael set out to create was a work environment where he could support the plumbers to reach the best of their abilities while enjoying what they do.

Always looking to learn more about the world of plumbing, he has a knack for finding solutions to any plumbing-related job (big or small) and leading a team of plumbers who are committed to delivering a quality service to their loyal customers.

When not leading the way with Vic City, Michael can be found exploring nature with his family and enjoying a golf day with his friends and fellow plumbers.

Matt has been at Vic City for a little over 2 years. One of the original crew members, Matt has been involved in laying the foundation of Vic City with Michael and taking VCP to where they are today. Now in his new role of Ops Manager (along with the self-proclaimed cultural king and leader of regular social events), Matt is one of the core team members who oversees a job from start to finish and makes sure that everything goes to plan.

Having spent lots of time with his teammates at Vic City, Matt sees no limits in what they can achieve, and he enjoys helping fresh faces that work with them find their feet at the company as well as in the plumbing industry.

On the weekends he can be found enjoying a cold beverage with his mates while watching his Richmond Tigers take to the footy field. Another fun fact about Matt is that he spent three weeks living in Papua New Guinea, which gave him an appreciation for the little things in life.

Tab has brought his 33 years of plumbing knowledge to Vic City, and having started in the middle of 2023, he is now one of the Ops Managers and is the go-to man for everything related to job planning and quoting jobs.

Since starting with the team, he has enjoyed taking on his new role, as well as drawing on his experience to support his teammates in solving even the most challenging jobs.

Introducing Ben James, the new Business Development Manager at Vic City Plumbing, who brings a wealth of experience and energy to this exciting role. Since stepping into the position, he has been focused on identifying new opportunities for growth and strengthening relationships with clients, while contributing to the ongoing success of the team.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, camping in the great outdoors, and exploring new experiences that allow him to unwind and recharge. He also has a keen interest in staying informed on industry trends and innovative business practices, which helps him bring fresh ideas to the company.

With seven years of experience in accounting and finance, Samra loves working with numbers and helping forecast business growth. Since joining Vic City Plumbing at the start of 2025, She has really enjoyed being part of the team and looking after everything money-related, from client and customer accounts to payroll and employee payments.

Outside of work, She loves travelling, going on trips, and hosting friends and family with plenty of home-cooked food.

Bringing her years of experience in a number of corporate roles, Liz has become the go-to person for everything administration- and project-related. Liz enjoys the variety of work that Vic City offers, as well as the collaborative and supportive environment that the team has built.

During her free time, Liz enjoys looking after her large garden in rural Victoria and is always looking for ways to increase sustainability, as well as renovating an old property in the countryside.

With over seven years of professional experience behind him, Kieren has worked in a diverse number of fields and sectors and is now the head scheduler at VCP. Having been with Vic City for over a year, one of the key factors that drew him into working with the company was the easy-going and friendly culture, as well as a no-job-too-big attitude, which suited him perfectly.

Some of the main things that he enjoys about the plumbing industry and his role are that no two days are ever the same and that he can make a difference in the lives of others.
Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new local eateries and cafes, as well as spending time with his family and friends. Also, a self-confessed sports superfan, he enjoys nothing more than sitting down to watch a game of footy or soccer over the weekend.

Introducing James, the Systems Manager at Vic City Plumbing, who brings over a decade of diverse professional experience. Since stepping into the role and overseeing the company’s operations, he has enjoyed the inviting culture and the team’s commitment to excellence and growth.

Outside the office, he enjoys exploring Melbourne’s vibrant culinary scene and attending local events. He also values learning about a wide range of topics and keeping up to date with current events, believing it’s important to maintain a well-rounded perspective of the world.

Looking ahead, he is focused on building something meaningful with Vic City and seeing the results of the effort that has gone into the business.

Without our hard-working team, Vic City Plumbing would not be what it is today. We like to work hard and have fun while doing so. Teamwork and customer service are some of our most important qualities, which we hold dear and true at Vic City Plumbing.
